Crafts We Make To Sell

To help feed and clothe the children and run the Kepac Children's Home, our volunteers, with the children's help, do some wonderful crafts:

These mats can be made for you in different sizes.

Finished Product. Sturdy, comfortable, and very nice.
We also make these plates.   Decorative and strong.

These unscented lacquered paper beads are made into necklaces and bracelets.

Some our volunteers also make traditional outfits.

Mugambe Yusuf - "The Preacher Boy"

Mugambe Yusuf was left on the streets at the age of four years.  While he was left to fend for himself on ther streets, he began preaching to the other street children.  Yusuf arrived at our home packing his bible, and wanting a place to live. He speaks a little English, but wants to have an education to learn to speak English well so that he can preach to the world.  We need donations for this bright boy to go to school.  If you can help, you might change the world.

Always there to help the little ones.

Mark 10:14

New Living Translation (NLT)
14 When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.

Land Was Given to us to Build a School

Sandra Baite and Angel Kazo School

There is enough room on the land to build 5 of these buildings, and connect them, as funding comes in.  They are 16 x 16 feet with a front and back door.  We are looking for donors to help us build these buildings.  Each room will have 40 students from the orphanage and street children.

A Package Came to us for the Children

     .

This surprise gift was given to us from one of our sponsors, Angelofafrica Children's Foundation. On this day, she surprised the girls with special gifts.  They received shirts, medication for the healing burn on Letisha's arm, a ball for her to exercise her hand, and a stuffed doggie to play with.

The other kids
all wanted to try on
the new shirts too!

Letisha was so happy to get her ball
and doggie that she went around the
 houses next door telling everyone,
"My mommie, Angel, sent me these!"

It takes so little to make a child happy.  :-)

Introducing Derick, our young leader

Derick by the tree.

He believes in the Montessori philosophy that the older children should teach the younger, and he walks his talk.

We are a family

We never know how much the life of one child can change the entire world; each child deserves a chance at their dream.  By sponsoring a child, you will be the blessing that changes that child's life, and you could be changing the world, one child, one life at a time.

We are a family.

We found this sweet little baby in the dust bin.  Someone dropped her off for us to care for. She was starving to skin and bones.  We are  hugging her up and thanking God that she does not have AIDS.  We are feeding her what milk we can get, but we do need help with her.  We have not named her, assuming that she has a mother and a real name of her own.

Cookies and new outfits thanks to kind donors made these children feel the spirit of Christmas.
2011 Christmas Party

These cakes were made for Jesus' birthday.

Girl's Day Out

Some of the girls had a chance to go shopping  due to a kind donation to the Angelofafrica Children's Foundation, which then gave us the for new clothes for the children.  Their faces were all smiles in their new Christmas outfits.
